The deal

Randy gives surf reports and keeps a journal for you over the phone. Right now it's free. If that changes, you'll hear it from Randy first, and nothing gets charged without you saying yes.

The ocean

Randy reads buoys, tide tables and forecasts, and he's honest about what he doesn't know. He is still a computer, the ocean is still the ocean, and forecasts are still guesses. Look at the water before you paddle out. Your safety is yours. We're not liable for what happens in the water, on the way there, or because a swell didn't show.

Your account

Your phone number is your account. Keep your phone yours. If you change numbers, tell Randy and we'll move your journal over.

Fair use

Randy is for the kind of use a surfer makes of him: a few calls a week, a debrief after a session. If someone's running a call center through Randy we'll have a word.

Texts

By asking Randy to text you, you agree to receive those texts. Reply STOP to opt out. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.

Leaving

Want your journal deleted? Tell Randy, or email hello@randysurf.com, and it's gone within 30 days.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date up top tells you when. Keep using Randy and you're okay with them.
